Starting a Business

You have an idea, or you're really good at something, and the company you work for doesn't quite do it well enough, OR you don't really want to work for someone else anymore. You want to be your own boss. You want to stretch your wings and fly and create your own small business, and it't part of the American Dream. Working for yourself, setting your own hours, making your own schedule and making more money than you were before when you worked for someone else.

You're waiting for the BUT. There isn't one. This isn't a discouraging story of how people will fail, but some will and some will soar. Some will simply do alright while others give up before the end. Some will look at the tunnel they are in and wonder if the light they see at the end is truly a light or a train. I am here to tell you that all of that depends on you. It depends on your tenacity and your grit. It depends on whether you have the ability to stop and listen to the world around you. It depends a mostly on whether you are willing to learn. I'm not here to tell you that you can learn it all here.In fact it's all around you being offered, but you also have to be careful; some of these hard lessons can come from wolves in sheep's clothing.Because at the end of the day, there are people out there who make their living on scamming people into buying some product that will promise a successful outcome for you the small business owner. It is about learning and listening and molding your offering, your small business into something that the end user, the client sees clearly the value of.

When you decided to start your business, you may or may not have known what you were in for. Most people take the skill they have or the idea they have and figure out how to make it and then sell it. Seems simple enough.

So off we go, on an adventure together of learning. As for me, I am still learning and look forward to sharing our knowledge.
